The Grove - The Garden
A large Georgian mansion of heritage note built in 1750 by the Mayor of Richmond and is currently the main residence of the owners. Three spacious apartments, each in a different style, have been sympathetically created from parts of the mansion, and tastefully decorated to provide self contained holiday accommodation. Properties 545 and 2073 take their names from Easby Abbey and Richmond Castle, as these landmarks form part of the view from these apartments which area adjacent to one another. Historic Richmond, with its Norman Castle, cobbled market place, museums, swimming baths, riverside walks, restaurants, the Royal Georgian Theatre, and nearby Easby Abbey and Catterick racecourse is an excellent location for seeing the many attractions of the North country. Whilst the Grove is in the heart of Richmond, it has private parking, a private courtyard garden and a fine panoramic view across green countryside to Easby Abbey and beyond. Shop and pub 300 yards.
